The Hotel

The Alma Lodge Hotel is a 52 bed room hotel, restaurant and conference centre, conveniently situated in the historic market town of Stockport.  Close to rail, airport and motorway links, just a few minutes drive from the M60, Manchester ring road, Manchester airport, and the Trafford centre. Making it a great location for business events or leisure breaks, in the North West of England. The Hotel is privately owned and managed by the Tavini family who pride themselves in maintaining high standards of service combined with friendly, experienced and helpful staff. This attention to detail over the last 10 years has enabled the Alma lodge to build a reputation of excellence particularly in Banqueting and Special events in the Stockport area. It is the ideal place for Weddings, christenings, birthdays, anniversaries and family parties.

We have a variety of Function suites to suit your particular event and an experienced, thorough and caring events team who will ensure your event will be a success. Choose from a variety of menus for every occasion from 4 course gourmet dinners to simple party buffets, superb food at reasonable prices.

Outside we have a beautiful enclosed walled courtyard garden with seated area, which is perfect for wedding and family photographs or for just enjoying the summer evenings.

Hotel accommodation comprises of 2 superior triple rooms with flat screen TV, 17 doubles, 4 twins, 13 singles and 16 family rooms. All rooms enjoy en suite bathrooms, TV and complimentary tea / coffee making facilities.

Luigi's Restaurant

The restaurant has been tastefully modernized creating a relaxed and informal atmosphere. We have extensive a la Carte, Table d Hote menus and an impressive wine list to suit all tastes and pockets, Monday to Thursday we also provide a residents menu priced at £15.50 per head, which consists of a 3 course dinner, which changes weekly and offers an excellent choice of dishes.  Our Sunday menu is available from 12pm until 2pm then 6.30 - 9.30pm a Traditional Sunday Roast starts from £16.50 families also catered for.

Conference flexibility

You get the best of both worlds at the Alma Lodge Hotel the elegance and style of a bygone era combined with a modern business venue. We offer a varied choice of meeting rooms the largest of which is The Regis Suite which accommodates up to 250 delegates, has ground floor access and separate entrance with toilets, bar and parking.

In addition there are a number of smaller rooms for you to choose from for theatre, board room and u shaped meetings.

The Regis, Congress, Bromley and Davenport suites all benefit from natural day light. All Conference Rooms and public areas have free Wi-Fi Internet access!  combined with  this are great business amenities and a comprehensive range of conference equipment to hire, daily and 24 hour delegate rates our available. Our experienced conference and events manager will also be available throughout the day to support your event ensuring it will be a success
